Haryana government has taken action against 3 HCS officers in a case related to land acquisition in Palwal. The government has ordered to take disciplinary action against HCS officers Kanwar Singh, Jitendra Kumar and Dr Naresh. HCS Kanwar Singh has serious charges, so the government has directly recommended him to be chargesheeted under Rule 7 of the Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules for major punishment. An explanation has been sought from Jitendra Kumar-4, HCS and Dr. Naresh in this matter. Disciplinary action has been recommended against him.

Seeking reply by issuing notice
In this case, Tehsildar / Naib Tehsildar Pradeep Deshwal, Ashok Kumar S, Rohtas and Prem Prakash have been summoned by issuing notices. In relation to the registry clerks, data entry operators and readers, the Divisional Commissioner and the DC of Palwal have been ordered to take action as per law.

The government has also informed the Railway Ministry about the matter. It is said that these people have bought the land acquired on their own or in the name of their relatives. This is likely to cause serious damage to the project.
