In a conversation with NBT Online, ACP Dashashwamedh Awadhesh Kumar Pandey said that after a meeting with the sailors led by the magistrate, permission has been given to operate the boat in the Ganges. Vaccination is mandatory for boaters before boating.

Awadhesh Kumar Pandey told that the boatmen will operate the boat in the Ganges from 7 am to 7 pm. During the boat operation in the Ganges, the sailors will have to follow the Corona guidelines from the tourists. Boat operation in the Ganges will be strictly prohibited during the weekend lockdown.

In a conversation with NBT Online, Shambhu Nishad said that after the resumption of boat operations in the Ganges, the sailors suffering from the crisis of livelihood will get relief. During the lockdown, the troubles due to which the family of the sailors were troubled, it is hoped that after this relaxation, their troubles will now go away.
