Vaccination News: Vaccination of drivers and street vendor booths will be done from shopkeepers to auto rickshaw and bus drivers

In order to free the state from the corona epidemic and speed up the vaccination campaign, the UP government will now conduct vaccination of street vendors and bus, auto-tamps and e-rickshaw drivers in all 75 districts from June 14. Chief Minister of UP Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions to the top officials to get the vaccination done.

Taking a decision in the meeting of the top officials of Team-9, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to take action to cover all these people with vaccine-cover by coordinating with the urban body and the transport department. After which Additional Chief Secretary Medical Health Amit Mohan Prasad has ordered all the District Magistrates and Chief Medical Officers of the state.

Amit Mohan Prasad, while directing for a special vaccination campaign, has said that every day at least 100 commercial vehicle drivers and bus conductors will be vaccinated by installing two CVCs with a capacity of 50-50 persons in the RTO office of every district. Similarly, setting up two CVCs for at least 100 street vendors (one above 45 years and the other 18 to 44 years of age) for at least 100 street vendors in the municipal corporation-municipal office of every district. Vaccination will be ensured.
