While interacting online with the teachers of 500 schools on the occasion of launching the website of Atal Utkrisht Vidyalaya here on Wednesday, Rawat said, “It is a matter of good fortune for the state that it has been ranked fourth in the Sustainable Development Goals List released by NITI Aayog. Has happened. The list was determined on seventeen different dimensions. In 2015-16, where the state was ranked 19th, today the state has secured the fourth position.
He said that in the coming time, the officers and teachers of the Education Department will have to work with this dedication to bring Uttarakhand first place in the field of education.
Describing the work of teaching as a new challenge during the Kovid period, the Chief Minister said that despite limited resources, commendable efforts were made by the Education Department for online educational activities.
Rawat said that all possible efforts are being made by the State Government to bring about qualitative improvement in the school system, including promoting internet connectivity in remote areas of the State.
He said that efforts are being made to further improve the standard of education through Atal Utkrisht Vidyalayas. 190 Atal Excellence Schools have been sanctioned in the state.
Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that as a result of the hard work of the teachers, the state has got the fourth position in the Sustainable Development Goal List issued by NITI Aayog.
He said that continuous efforts are being made by the State Government for qualitative improvement in the field of education. Ninety percent of the schools have furniture, which will soon be made 100 percent. Digital classes have been arranged in five hundred schools and soon 600 more schools will be provided with it.
