BJP MLA Brijesh Prajapati himself has written a letter to PM Modi saying that the rules related to reservation have been ignored in this. The opposition has also started attacking the government on this issue. Now Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi has ordered an inquiry in this matter.
Agriculture University Banda had invited applications for the 20 posts of lecturers. In this, 18 posts were reserved for general and 2 for backward classes. The result of the appointment was declared on June 1. Out of 15 professors selected in the general category, 11 are said to be of Thakur caste.
On this, BJP MLA Brijesh Prajapati has complained to PM Narendra Modi, Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi Adityanath by writing a letter. It states that reservation rules have not been followed in these appointments.
Former MP and Congress leader Udit Raj and Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh have also attacked the Yogi government. Sanjay Singh said that Yogi should tell what happened to reservation if 11 out of 15 recruitments were done for one caste.
