Mumbai. A 28-year-old man was killed and four people, including a woman, were injured when a wall of a four-storey building collapsed on an adjoining two-storey house in Mumbai’s suburban Bandra. A municipal official told about this. While fire brigade personnel rescued 11 people, people living in the area saved six lives soon after the wall collapsed at around 1.30 pm, the official said.
The rescued people and the injured were taken to Bhabha Hospital in Bandra and V N Desai Hospital in Santacruz, he said. The condition of injured Salman Khan (24), Rahul Khot (22), Rohan Khot (22) and Lata Khot (48) is stable, the official said. At the same time, Riyaz Ahmed (28) was declared brought dead on being brought to the hospital. The building is located at Razzak Chawl on Kherwadi Road in Bandra (East), the official said.
