Three friends of Indore made a startup to sell tea, today success is being discussed abroad

In view of the popularity of tea among the students, three students of Indore opened a startup. The innovative idea of ​​selling tea brought him such a success, which is being discussed in foreign countries today.

Chai Sutta Bar, known across India for its kulhad tea flavor, opened stores in 2016 with an investment of Rs 3 lakh. Now its business has increased to about Rs 50 crore in 2020-2021. The brand hails from Indore, the Tier-II city of Madhya Pradesh and just like sipping chai at Nook, Chai Sutta Bar aims to deliver the taste as well as the taste of cutting tea in a comfortable ambiance. With 165 outlets catering to the taste demands in western and northern region of India and excellent response from over 60 markets, there are 4 outlets abroad.

Chai Sutta Bar was started in 2016 with 5 stores and 40 employees. We also provide an excellent ambiance to the tea drinkers along with the traditional flavours. The special thing is that we sell 9 different flavors of tea and all have the same price. Items are sold in our menu from Rs.10 to maximum Rs.150. Along with a very tempting menu of Chocolate, Rose, Ginger, Cardamom, Paan, Saffron, Tulsi, Lemon and Masala Chai, the brand offers great smoothies, mojitos, cold coffees, shakes and other affordable bites for all, perfect for your taste buds. Doesn’t get heavy on the pocket. The brand has also recently launched a variety of ice crushers in Strawberry, Kiwi and Blue Berry flavors to give relief this summer.

After marking its presence in western, northern and north-western India with Chai Ke Kulhad, Chai Sutta Bar is all set to make its debut in the eastern states of India. The company is planning to open more than 200 outlets by the end of December 2021. The brand originated from Indore, the commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh, which is well known for its vast community of students. The idea of ​​starting the brand came from providing the Cutting Tea Tapery Platter, focusing on the luxury of an enchanting environment with taste.

This one idea has taken the form of a big startup today.  At the same time, 250 potter families are getting employment by making kulhads annually. Since 2016 till now, about 35 million kulhads have been used in all the cafes. Employment of differently-abled people with priority in  Cafe and participation of women with a view to women empowerment has recognized Chai Sutta Bar as a new era brand.
