On the basis of secret information, the officials of the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell made a person a customer and sent it to the accused on Monday. Police said in a release that the accused woman called the customer near a hotel in Sasupada village on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway where two of her associates arrived with two women.
It was told that the police then apprehended the three accused and rescued two women who were brought there for prostitution. Later, the accused were arrested under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, police said. An auto rickshaw driver was also among the accused.
