There should be a high level inquiry into the bomb blast in Banka: BJP

Patna, Jun 9 (PTI) Bihar’s ruling party BJP has demanded a high-level inquiry into Tuesday’s blast at a madrasa building in Navtolia Mohalla under Nagar police station in Banka district in which one person was killed.

The Imam of a mosque, living behind the said building in the Madrasa building, was killed due to a sudden explosion in the building of a madrasa located in Navtolia Mohalla under Nagar police station of Banka district on Tuesday morning.

State BJP ministers Siddharth Shambhu and Poonam Sharma said that a high level inquiry should be conducted into this incident and strict action should be taken by identifying the people involved in it.

BJP leaders said that the negligence of the administration has been exposed by this incident. He said that why the administration officials did not come to know about the bombs being planted there.

He questioned whether the mosque was a place of worship or a place to keep bombs. He said that due to the bomb blast it is being proved that bombs were kept there to carry out some major incident.

It is noteworthy that most of the said madrasa was destroyed in this blast, but no damage was done to any other nearby house including the mosque located behind it.

All educational institutions along with places of worship in Bihar have been closed for more than a month due to the lockdown to stop the corona virus.
