The work of the second phase of Ram temple construction will start in December: Trust

Ayodhya, Jun 7 (PTI) The second phase of the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will begin in December during which stone-laying work will be done to build the temple structure. The temple trust gave this information on Monday.

According to the Ram Mandir Trust, the foundation-filling work will be completed by the end of October and the second phase of construction will begin from December, in which the stone-laying work will be done to prepare the grand temple structure.

Ram Mandir Trust trustee Anil Mishra told PTI, “The work of installing pink stones of Mirzapur will be started in December and order has been placed for pink stones. The work of cutting and carving these stones will be done in Ram Janmabhoomi itself.

He said that 50 layers of mixture of 10 inch thickness of construction material would be laid in a 50 feet deep foundation having 400 feet length and 300 feet width.
