The situation of Kovid-19 in Bihar under control, the Chief Minister asked to increase the investigation rate

Patna, Jun 11 (PTI) On Friday, 566 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Bihar and 14 more people died due to this epidemic. The situation of Kovid-19 in the state is now said to be under control.

According to the State Health Department, the total number of dead has increased to 9466 and the number of infected has increased to 7,16,296. 7,99,481 people have become healthy due to this epidemic in the state. The number of patients under treatment in the state is 6343. According to the department, the recovery rate in the state is 97.79 percent.

However, in a meeting to review the functioning of health departments, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stressed on the need to further increase the testing rate. He said that with the lockdown and easing of restrictions, people are stepping out of their homes and coming in contact with each other.

The Chief Minister said that there is a need to speed up the investigation and trace the people who came in contact with the infected to prevent the new outbreak of infection.

The lockdown which has been going on for more than a month has been lifted from June 9 after the improvement in the Kovid situation.
