Temperature rises in Rajasthan, heat wave warning in many areas

Jaipur, Jun 8 (PTI) The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of strong hot winds and heat wave in many districts of Rajasthan, with Ganganagar recording the highest temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in the last twenty-four hours in the state.

According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, the temperature has increased by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the state in the last 24 hours and during this time the highest temperature was recorded in Ganganagar of 45 degrees Celsius.

According to the spokesperson of the center, due to the formation of a pressure area over western Rajasthan, strong winds at a speed of 30 to 35 kmph are expected in the districts of Jodhpur and Bikaner division for the next three-four days.

He said that the wind direction will be south-west and due to the high speed of the wind, there will be dust in the sky.

The department has issued warnings for hot winds and heat wave in Bharatpur, Dholpur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Churu, Hanumangarh and Ganganagar districts today and tomorrow.

The Meteorological Center has said in the forecast that there is no possibility of rain in most parts of the state for the next three to four days, although there is a possibility of light rain at some places in the districts of Udaipur and Kota divisions. In the surrounding areas of Udaipur, there has been drizzle at many places in the last twenty four hours.
