Teams to be formed to audit anti-coronavirus vaccines in Rajasthan

Jaipur. Teams will be formed by the State Medical and Health Department for the audit of anti-coronavirus vaccines and for monitoring the timely and proper use of vaccines at the district level. These teams will keep an eye on uninterrupted vaccination and proper use of vaccines. Akhil Arora, Principal Secretary to the Government of Health Department, has issued an order in this regard. According to this, the anti-coronavirus vaccination program in the state is being done as per the prescribed protocol. He said that for maximum use of vaccines in vaccination, teams have been formed at the state, district and block level.

He said that there would be three divisional teams at the district level to oversee the vaccination process, while three teams at the state level would be separate for periodic audits. He said that district and block level teams would inspect and send their report to the Directorate of Medical and Health, Jaipur through District Collector within the first seven days of formation. After this inspection will be done every 15 days.

The Principal Secretary to the Government said that three teams have also been constituted for periodic audit. These teams will conduct periodic audit of state level vaccination stores, district level vaccination stores and cold chain points located in different districts from the state level. These teams will also conduct a detailed audit of the maintenance, use and disposal of the anti-Covid vaccines.
