Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has received a major setback from the Supreme Court. On Friday, the Supreme Court dismissed Singh’s plea. Parambir Singh had filed a petition in the Supreme Court asking that the ongoing departmental investigation against him should be transferred outside the state and its investigation should be done by a central agency.

While dismissing the petition, the court said that those whose houses are made of glass do not throw stones at the houses of others. The court said that it is very strange that you do not trust the department of the police department in which you yourself have worked for 30 years.
