Restrictions in Tamil Nadu till June 21 with some relaxations

Chennai, Jun 11 (PTI) The Tamil Nadu government has announced some relaxations in restrictions imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19. Under this, salons, parks and liquor shops will open after 35 days from June 14.

Announcing this, Chief Minister MK Stalin has asked people to follow the instructions regarding Kovid-19. An official release said that in 11 districts including Coimbatore and Nilgiris in the state, there will be less relaxation due to the relatively high cases of Kovid-19. More relaxation will be given in the remaining 27 districts.

According to the release, this order regarding relaxation will come into effect from June 14. The ban on cinema and bus service will remain in force till June 21. Industries will continue to operate with 33 percent workers in 27 districts including Chennai.
