Rajasthan government increased the scope of exemption in lockdown, guidelines issued

Jaipur, June 7 (PTI) The Rajasthan government has decided to further relax the lockdown implemented in the state in view of the decline in the number of corona infected and the infection rate. For this, the Home Department issued guidelines on Monday which will be effective from Tuesday. Under this, now government and private offices in the state can be opened till 4 pm with the presence of 50 percent personnel.

Along with this, the movement of private vehicles has been exempted. Public parks can be roamed from 5 am to 8 am and shops and commercial establishments of permitted category will also be open from 6 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday. However, public discipline weekly curfew will continue from 5 pm on Friday till 5 am on Monday till further orders. On other days of the week, there will be a public discipline curfew from 5 in the evening to 5 in the morning the next day.

It is noteworthy that a decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the State Council of Ministers held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. In this sequence, the Home Department on Monday issued guidelines for the three-tier public discipline Revised Lockdown 2.0.

According to the government statement, under this guideline, a decision has been taken to increase the relaxation in restrictions from 5 am on Tuesday, June 8. Under this, the operation of roadways and private buses will be allowed in the state from June 10. City bus and mini bus service running within the city will be banned. No person will be able to travel standing up. At the same time, movement by private vehicles will be allowed from 5 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday.

Work will be allowed in all industries and units related to construction, so that the migration of the working class can be stopped. Shops of agricultural inputs and agricultural implements and their premises, mandis, shops of fruits and vegetables and flower garlands, street vendors, thadis, street vendors and sale of other goods and materials through hand carts and glasses shops from 6 am to 4 pm every day. will be allowed to open.

At the same time, the state government has not allowed any public, social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural and religious functions and processions, fairs and haat markets.

Similarly, fully air-conditioned shopping complexes/malls will not be allowed to open. People have been expected to postpone the wedding ceremony till June 30.

It is noteworthy that to break the chain of corona infection, the state government had imposed a complete lockdown in the state from 5 am on May 10 to May 24 at 5 am. It was later extended till June 8. Meanwhile, it was announced to relax it from June 2.
