Noida Police introduced the girl living in the orphanage to her family with the help of Google Map

Noida, Jun 9 (PTI) A missing girl child from Salarpur village under police station Jarcha area was reunited with her family members by a team of Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Gautam Budh Nagar Police Commissionerate with the help of Google Map. The girl was living in an orphanage in Sector 12 for four days. The said girl team was found in ‘Sai Kripa Shelter Home’ where he had come to counsel the children.

Inspector Devendra Singh of Gautam Budh Nagar Police Commissionerate AHTU said that the team counseled the children at Sai Kripa Shelter Home, Sector-12/22. During this, a girl told her name, her father’s name and said that she is a resident of Salarpur village.

He told that a village named Salarpur is in the police station Sector 39 area. But on checking here, no information was found about the girl. After this, when the police searched on Google Map, it was found that there is another village named Salarpur in Thana Jarcha area. The AHTU inspector said that the former village head was contacted who told that the girl was from his village. After this, the village head informed the family members of the girl and the family reached Noida to pick up the girl. The girl was handed over to her family members from the shelter home.
