Sushant singh rajpoot suicide – Sushant’s father Krishna Kishore Singh had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking stay on the use of his name or a similar character in a film based on the child’s life or any other film.
New Delhi, June 10 : The Delhi High Court has rejected an important petition filed by Krishna Kishore Singh, father of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant’s father had filed a petition in the High Court. It called for a moratorium on various proposed films based on or similar to Sushant’s life. However, the petition filed by Justice Sanjeev Narula against Sushant’s father has been rejected.
Apart from dismissing the petition, the Delhi High Court has also refused to stay the screening of the film ‘Justice: The Justice’. The film is said to be based on the life of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The film is being screened this Friday. Sushant’s father Krishna Kishore Singh had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking stay on the use of a character or a character matching his name in a film based on the child’s life or any other film. He also mentioned ‘Justice: The Justice’, ‘Suicide or Murder: A Star Was Lost’, ‘Shashank’ and another film. All these films are based on the life of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself in a flat in Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020. An investigation into his death has since been launched in the direction of the murder and has reached the drug connection.
After Sushant’s death, his father had lodged a complaint against actress Riya Chakraborty alleging that Sushant had caused her to commit suicide. Riya was arrested by the police after filing a case. She was released on bail after spending several days in jail. The case is currently being investigated by Drugs Angle.
