Newly elected Tibetan parliamentarians take oath of office and secrecy in exile

Dharamsala, Jun 8 (PTI) Newly-elected Tibetan parliamentarians in exile took the oath of office and secrecy here on Tuesday. Dharamsala is the headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile.

These newly elected MPs were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Dawa Tsering, the provisional speaker of the 17th Tibetan Parliament in Exile.

An official said that it is likely that these members will also elect the president and vice-chairman this week.
