Former Union Minister Jitin Prasada left the Congress and joined the BJP on Wednesday. Hours later, the Madhya Pradesh Congress, expressing happiness over his departure from the party, called him garbage. The tweet from the Twitter handle of MP Congress was deleted minutes later, but by then it went viral.

It was said in the tweet that Congress is happy with the departure of Jitin Prasada. This is a normal process like throwing the garbage in the dustbin. The tweet was posted at 3:15 pm and was deleted a few minutes later.

Earlier, Chhattisgarh Congress also thanked Jitin Prasada for leaving the party. In a tweet made by Chhattisgarh Congress, it was said – Thank you Jitin Prasad ji for leaving the Congress party.

On Prasad leaving Congress, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge has said that those who go on leaving, we cannot stop them. At the same time, Kuldeep Bishnoi of Congress has termed his joining BJP as a big setback for Congress. He said that his party should identify and strengthen people’s leaders to win in the states.

Jitin Prasada joined the BJP on Wednesday during a press conference held at the BJP headquarters in Delhi in the presence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal and BJP MP Anil Baluni. After Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jitin Prasad is the second big leader to leave the party who was among the close friends of Rahul Gandhi.
