Kana Ram, Joint Chief Executive Officer, Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency said that since inception more than 27 thousand patients have been benefited from free treatment under the scheme. He said that more than 41 thousand claims amounting to about 27 crores have been submitted to the insurance company so far.
He said that even during the corona virus epidemic, the beneficiaries of the scheme have got a big relief. He said that till now more than 8 thousand corona treatment claims have been submitted. He said that 749 government and 357 private hospitals have been connected with the scheme so far.
Meanwhile, the state government has decided to appoint health coordinators in hospitals under the scheme for the assistance and information of the patients.
Agency Chief Executive Officer Aruna Rajoria said that all the private hospitals affiliated under the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme will now employ a health coordinator to assist the patients.
He said that under the scheme, one health coordinator would be appointed for hospitals up to 100 beds in affiliated private hospitals and two health coordinators in hospitals with more than 100 beds. He said that these health coordinators would be available at the registration counter of the scheme in the hospital along with the health guide. He said that these health coordinators would help him in resolving any problem faced by the beneficiary of the scheme in the hospital.
