Mirzapur: A bag containing Rs 50 lakh disappeared from inside the bank, police investigating on the basis of CCTV footage

In Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, there was a stir after the news of a bag full of notes missing from inside the bank. Police reached the spot after getting information and is investigating the matter on the basis of CCTV footage. It is said that 50 lakh rupees were inside the bag.

According to the information, around 2 pm on Tuesday, Ravi Yadav, an employee working in Radiant Cash Management Private Limited Company, had arrived from the cash van with the money of LIC and Bandhan Bank in three bags.

While depositing money at the bank’s cash counter, the bank cashier and staff were matching them when three notes were short. Then out of the three bags, one bag containing 50 lakh rupees of Bandhan Bank went missing.

In the case of missing a bag containing Rs 50 lakh, on the basis of CCTV footage installed outside the back, the police is looking for the youth who stole the bang. However, question marks have been raised on the security of the bank after the bag full of notes went missing from inside the bank.
