Former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur has targeted the Center and the Punjab government for the farmers’ agitation against the agricultural laws. Harsimrat Kaur said that 500 farmers lost their lives fighting for their rights but the governments were not affected. He said that no solution is being worked out for these farmers.
Akali Dal leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal tweeted, ‘500 farmers died fighting for their rights. The hands of the state and central government are stained with blood. So many families are in shock who have lost their sole breadwinner but both the governments don’t care. No words, no regrets. Nothing to stop these deaths further.’

Earlier, Harsimrat Kaur Badal had also attacked the Modi government regarding agricultural laws. Harsimrat had said that due to the stubborn attitude of the Modi government, the farmers’ movement is not ending. He had said that agricultural laws have not come into force yet and never will be.
