According to the Railways, a person from Kanpur was committing fraud by taking Rs.
According to the police, Kanpur RPF post personnel and ticket checking staff were checking on Thursday near the automatic stairs built towards Ghantaghar. Meanwhile, a man wearing a white shirt, Dinesh, was seen checking the tickets of the passengers. He had an icard string hanging around his neck, but the card was not there.
When questioned on suspicion, he told himself to be a railway employee. He showed an ID in the mobile, which had the seal of the Senior Section Engineer’s office. When the checking staff present there refused to recognize him, the records were checked by bringing him to the TTE office.
