J&K: Kishtwar-Sinthan road reopened for emergency health services

Jammu, Jun 6 (PTI) The Kishtwar-Sinthan road connecting Kishtwar in Jammu region with Anantnag in south Kashmir has been reopened for emergency health services. Officials gave this information on Sunday. Officials said that Kishtwar Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma has ordered that only vehicles carrying patients belonging to emergency health services will be allowed to and from Srinagar on the Kishtwar-Sinthan road. Referring to the order, he said that the movement of vehicles is allowed from 10 am to 4 pm.

It is noteworthy that due to heavy snowfall, this route is closed every year for five to six months from December.
