Jharkhand High Court has ordered the cancellation of 6th JPSC Civil Services Exam Merit List. Simultaneously the court Jharkhand Public Service Commission has been asked to release the fresh merit list within eight weeks. The court has also directed the state government to identify the officials responsible for the mistake in the merit list and take action against them. This decision of the court will have a direct impact on more than 300 candidates, whose appointment has been declared illegal by the court.

In the court of Justice SK Dwivedi, 16 cases were being heard regarding the 6th JPSC Civil Services Examination. The single bench was hearing all the petitions divided into four categories. After the completion of the hearing recently, the decision was reserved and the verdict was pronounced on Monday. In this, canceling the merit list of the sixth JPSC, an order was issued to issue a fresh merit list.
The matter had reached the court regarding this matter.
Different points were raised in the petition filed by other applicants including Rahul Kumar and Dilip Kumar Singh in the High Court. It said that JPSC has ignored the rules in releasing the final result. Adding the total score to the qualifying marks is wrong. The applicants say that the qualifying marks of Paper 1 (Hindi-English) of the sixth JPSC examination were added to the total score, while as per the condition of the advertisement, the candidates had to bring only the qualifying marks in Paper 1 and it was not added to the total score. had to go.
After continuous hearing, now the decision came
Apart from this, a petition related to the allegation of giving wrong cadre to reserved category candidates was also filed in the court. Some of the applicants had also raised the issue of violation of reservation rule. Earlier, during the hearing, the court had ordered to preserve the answer sheets of all the candidates appearing in the 6th JPSC Main Examination.
Final result of 6th JPSC exam came in April last year
During the hearing of the case, the advocates of the applicants had pointed out many flaws in the final result released by JPSC. However, the JPSC’s counsel had termed the entire process as pertinent. Keep in mind that the final result of the 6th JPSC exam came in April last year and the posting of officials had already been done.
