A car fell into a gorge in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. Five people aboard have died. A CRPF jawan is also involved in this. One person has been injured in this accident. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After the accident, the operation is being conducted on the spot by the police team so that it can be seen that no one else was in the car.
A car was coming to Jammu on Saturday. On the way in Digdol area of Ramban district, the driver lost his balance and the car fell into a deep gorge. Police reached the spot after getting information about the accident. The police immediately launched the rescue operation. It was told that there were six people in this car. The bodies of five were recovered.
Three of them have been identified as CRPF jawan Shagun Kumar resident of Kangra, Garu Ram son Hans Raj resident of Talab Tillon and Vineet Kaur daughter JP Singh resident of Gupkar Srinagar. The two have not yet been identified. The injured has been identified as Ajit Kumar resident of Bilawar. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Efforts are being made by the police to identify the two dead. So that their families can be informed.
An accident in Leh too
Apart from this, there has also been an accident in Leh. A truck fell into a ditch. In which the driver died, while the co-driver was seriously injured. The driver has been identified as Aslam Famda. Police say that the truck was coming back from Leh towards Srinagar. There was an accident in Futera area on the way.
