Heat wave continues in Rajasthan, Ganganagar is the hottest place

Jaipur, June 11 (PTI) The heat wave continued in Rajasthan for the second consecutive day on Friday. Ganganagar recorded a maximum temperature of 44.2 degree Celsius in the state and was the hottest place in the state.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Churu was 44 degrees Celsius, Karauli 43.6 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh-Pilani recorded 43.3-43.3 degrees Celsius. In other districts of the state, the maximum temperature was recorded below 43 degree Celsius.

During the next 24 hours, the department has expressed the possibility of heat wave conditions in Hanumangarh, Ganganagar districts of western Rajasthan and thunderstorms at isolated places in Baran district of eastern Rajasthan.
