Gazrola News: Patient dies in Gajraula, hospital sealed after allegations of negligence

Along with being in the headlines for conducting a mock-drill of death in Agra, negligence in treatment in a hospital in Amroha’s Gajraula has also come to the fore. It is alleged that the transport worker died during treatment at a hospital in Gajraula. The family members created a ruckus accusing the doctor of negligence and tried to sabotage it. It has been told that the Health Department sealed the hospital late on Wednesday night.

According to the information, transport worker Charan Singh Chauhan, resident of village Ahraula Tejwan, died in the hospital. The deceased’s wife Shashi and son Bhupendra accused the hospital operator of being negligent in treatment. Angry relatives ransacked there. The police also arrived. Police outpost in-charge Arun Kumar called the doctors and staff and informed about the incident.

The doctor told the police that Charan Singh was brought to the hospital at 12.30 pm on Wednesday. Seeing the bad condition, he was referred to Moradabad, but instead of taking it, the family members were insisting on getting treatment here. Whereas the wife of the deceased says that her husband was admitted to Malik Hospital for three days. But the police could not find the records of the hospital.

From Amroha, Investigating Officer Dr Sharad Kumar and Inspector Satendra Kumar Singh reached the hospital. Inspector Satendra Kumar Singh said that the body has been sent for postmortem. Action will be taken on the basis of the complaint.

Doctors have denied the allegation of negligence in treatment. The team of Investigating Officer Dr Sharad Kumar took the antigen test of the deceased late in the night. The investigation report came corona negative. RT PCR test has also been sent. At present the hospital is sealed.
