Police officials of Rajnandgaon district said here on Friday that four female laborers Saroj Bai (50 years), Shivkumari Sahu (50 years old) riding the matador hit a tree on the roadside of Matador on Thursday evening between Arjuni and Ratapali villages under Dongargaon police station area of ​​the district. 45 years), Jaintribai (40 years) and Sumitra Bai have died. Police officials said that the laborers resident of Ratapali village had gone close to Arjuni village to work in a private company. After work he boarded the matador on Thursday evening. When the vehicle was between Arjuni and Ratapali village, it collided with a roadside tree. Four women laborers were killed and 11 others were injured in this incident.

He said that after getting information about the incident, a police team was rushed to the spot and the bodies and the injured were sent to the Medical College Hospital located at the district headquarters. Police officials said that 11 injured laborers are being treated.

He said that the police have received information that the driver of the vehicle was drunk and due to his negligence, the accident took place. The police have registered a case and the matter is being investigated.
