Under the announcement of Unlock-1, the Jharkhand government has given many relaxations till 2 pm in 15 districts, including the state’s sub-capital Dumka, with 100% adherence to the Kovid protocol. But there is negligence in following the rules of Kovid in the sub-capital Dumka. On receiving the complaint, the officers under the leadership of Dumka SDM Maheshwar Mahato, Police Inspector cum City Police Station in-charge Deobrata Poddar made a surprise inspection of the main market of the city on Saturday.


Five shops sealed for 15 days
During the inspection, many shopkeepers and buyers were caught buying and selling without masks. Taking quick action, the SDM sealed five shops for 15 days. Let us tell you, in view of the decrease in Korana infection in many districts of the state including Dumka, the Jharkhand government announced various exemptions under Unlock-1. Under this, Dumka has also been unlocked two days ago i.e. from June 3. After the announcement of the unlock, people started thronging the market, ignoring the corona safety parameters.

Action will be taken against those who ignore the rules: SDM
After this action, SDM Maheshwar Mahato said that in Unlock-1, exemption has been given with many restrictions. Those who do not follow the guidelines of the state government, action will be taken against them as per rules. He said that if we want to avoid corona, then we have to follow safety parameters. He said that today, taking prompt action on the complaint of negligence in compliance with the Korana protocol, five shops have been sealed for the next 15 days as a directive, assuming the first negligence. He said that by ignoring the rules, strict action would be taken against shopkeepers or those who roam in unnecessary markets.
