Mumbai, June 6 : It is the dream of every Indian and international player to play in the IPL, the largest T20 league in the world. The IPL is one of the most successful leagues in the world as it attracts big players along with money and makes the competition very exciting. The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Big Bash League (BBL) T20 tournaments started on the lines of IPL. Former South African captain Faf Du Plessis, however, thinks the PSL is better than the IPL in one respect.

Faf Duplessis plays for MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL, while in the PSL he is in the Quetta Gladiators team. While the level of fast bowling is better in the PSL than in the IPL, there is diversity in spin bowling in the IPL, Duplessis said. Duplessis was talking to Pakistan cricket.

‘The level of play in PSL is good. The fast bowling here impressed me. In South Africa, you grew up with fast bowling. I was shocked to see that most fast bowlers in PSL bowl at 140 kmph. The difference of PSL is its fast bowling, ‘said Duplessis.

‘In India you face different spin bowling. These things can be seen in the IPL, ‘said Duplessis. The IPL tournament was postponed on May 4 after 29 matches due to corona infection of players and support staff. The IPL will now be held in the UAE in September-October.
