Similarly, 15 days ago, the matter of cheating is coming to the fore in another hospital in the area.
Cyber cell is engaged in investigation. The victim told that a call was made to the hospital. It was told that according to the Kovid rules, you will have to take a token of Rs 5 before the appointment. They got cheated after paying Rs. In this case, now the manager of the hospital has also complained to the police with the mobile company.
Withdraw 75 thousand rupees by sending the link
Nitin Kumar, a resident of Indirapuram, had called for an appointment in the OPD of Avantika Hospital of Niti Khand-1. The call attendant said that due to Kovid, a system of online token deduction of Rs 5 has been started by the hospital. Appointment will be available only after that. For this, a link was shared on Nitin’s mobile. After clicking on the link, Rs 5 was paid from Nitin’s account. After some time, 75 thousand rupees were withdrawn from the account in two times.
Calls going to the hacker after being diverted
Disturbed by this, Nitin reached the hospital and upon investigation, it was found that the call on the given number of the hospital was being diverted to the hacker. Yuvraj, associated with the hospital management, told that a complaint has been made on his behalf in the cyber cell. Investigation is going on. He said that a similar complaint was received a few days back. The patient had told that his reception number is not working. At that time it was not taken seriously that there would be a network problem.
On the complaint received from the hospital, a case has been registered and the cyber cell has been sent for investigation. This fraud has happened with a resident of Indirapuram.
