Jharkhand Adhividya Parishad (JAC) has decided to cancel the 10th and 12th board exams to be held this year. In view of the circumstances arising out of Kovid-19, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Jharkhand Academic Council, JAC has decided to cancel the 10th and 12th examinations to be held in this session.
Earlier, after the cancellation of the 10th and 12th examinations of many states including CBSE, CISCE due to corona infection, it was believed that the examination of JACK would also be canceled. Due to this, there was a constant demand from the students and their parents to cancel the examination. Former Chief Minister of the state Raghuvar Das had also demanded for the cancellation of Jharkhand Board 10th and 12th examinations.
More than seven and a half lakh students were to appear in the board examination this time
More than seven lakh 65 thousand students were to appear in Jack’s 10th and 12th examinations this year. In this, 4.32 lakh candidates are included in the 10th board examination and 3.31 lakh candidates in the 12th board examination. In the absence of examination, the result of all the candidates will be released as per the criteria set by the government.
Students were promoted by canceling the 9th and 11th exams
Earlier, all the students were promoted to 10th and 12th class by canceling the 9th and 11th examinations by the Jack Board. It has been told that the students who are currently appearing in the 10th board examination, their class VIII and IX examinations have been taken by Jack. In both the exams, the admit card was issued like the board exam. Similarly, class 12th result can also be taken on the basis of 10th and 11th results. A decision in this regard is likely to be taken by Jack soon.
