Consortium of four Indian cities to scale up the work of the Corona Virus Genome Series

Hyderabad, June 10 (PTI) A consortium of four cities – Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Pune – has been formed to augment the efforts of the Indian SARS-CoV2 genomic association ‘INSACOG’.

The association has been established by the Rockefeller Foundation and the City-based Center for Cellular and Molecular Sciences (CCMB) under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). This information was given in a release on Thursday.

INSACOG is an association of National Laboratories set up by the Central Government. It is analyzing the spread of the viruses of Kovid-19 and studying the genome chain.
