According to information received from sources, during this period, the Chief Minister discussed with the Prime Minister on several development projects related to the development of the state, apart from the damage caused by the second wave of Corona epidemic and preparations to deal with the possible third wave. Meeting of PM Modi, Amit Shah and JP Nadda
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda amid speculations of expansion and reshuffle in the Union Cabinet. Modi has not made any expansion in his cabinet after taking oath as the Prime Minister for the second consecutive time in the year 2019. There is also speculation of cabinet expansion in Uttar Pradesh. These speculations gained strength because Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was in the capital Delhi for two days and during this he had a long discussion with Prime Minister Modi, meeting Shah and Nadda. Sources said Modi is meeting his colleagues in the Union Council of Ministers in different groups. Nadda was also present during these meetings. The exercise among top BJP leaders began after Shah met leaders of regional parties from Uttar Pradesh, Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (S) and Sanjay Kumar Nishad and Praveen Kumar Nishad of Nishad Party, respectively. It is to be known that in the past, Nadda brainstormed for two days with party general secretaries and presidents of various fronts regarding the circumstances arising out of the second wave of Kovid-19 and the performance of the party in the recently concluded assembly elections and after that all the leaders met the Prime Minister with Assembly elections are due in five states, including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab, early next year. The BJP’s top leadership has started preparing for the better performance of the party in these elections.
