The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today approved the government procurement of agricultural produce, increase in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of all Kharif crops for the season 2021-22.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed the Central Government Kharif crops of Minimum Support Price Welcoming the decision to increase, have expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister has said that Prime Minister Modi is farmer-friendly and is taking decisions one after the other in the interest of farmers.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan He said that farmers would be benefited by increasing the support price of crops by the Central Government and they would get the right price for their sweat. This will encourage diversification of crops and Pulses and Oilseeds Production will also increase. At present we have to import pulses. The Chief Minister said that the increase of 62 percent in the support price of Kharif crops by the Center is commendable.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by the Cabinet today approved the increase in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of all Kharif crops for the government procurement of agricultural produce, season 2021-22. Sesamum (Rs 452 per quintal) is the highest in comparison to last year, followed by tur and urad (Rs 300 per quintal). MSP increase was recommended. In case of groundnut and nigerseed, there has been an increase of Rs.275 and Rs.235 per quintal, respectively, over the previous year.
