These patients have recovered from Kovid-19 within a span of a month. They included a 62-year-old male who came to us with complaints of intestinal obstruction and no defecation, he said. When we operated on him, we found that three feet long part of his small intestine was rotten. After this part was cut out and examined, which confirmed the infection of black fungus.

The gynecologist said that in the second case, a 44-year-old male had reached the hospital with complaints of persistent blood in the stool. He told that in the examination, a large black blister was seen in the first part of the small intestine of this patient and the wall of the intestine was visible. During the operation, it was found that the black fungus has also entered the patient’s pancreas.

He told that after the surgery, the black fungus infection was removed from the stomach of this patient and his condition is currently fine. Meanwhile, Dr. Ravi Dosi, Head of the Department of Chest Diseases, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAMS) said that black fungus infection has been found in the stomach of two patients of our hospital, while this infection was found in the lungs of eight other patients. is.

According to government data, a total of 1.52 lakh patients of Kovid-19 have been found in Indore district with a population of about 35 lakh since March 24, 2020. Of these, 1,363 have died during treatment.
