BJP’s Kerala unit protests against LDF government

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 10 (PTI) The Kerala BJP unit on Thursday staged a protest against the ruling CPI(M) alleging that the state government was trying to malign its image by registering false cases against party leaders and their family members. .

Addressing party workers online, BJP state chief K. Surendran said that his party can fight against corruption in Kerala and this is the reason that soon after the Chief Minister P. Vijayan-led government came to power for the second time, cases started coming against the party leaders and the party was being targeted. .

The BJP claimed that party workers demonstrated at around 10,000 places in the state.

The ruling CPI(M) and the state’s opposition Congress have alleged that the BJP has used huge amounts of black money in the assembly elections.

Former Mizoram Governor Kummanam Rajasekharan, former MLA O Rajagopal and others took part in the protest in front of the secretariat. BJP workers also burnt an effigy of Vijayan here.
