Big announcement of Chhattisgarh CM, poor will get free ration from July to November

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has given great relief to the poor families of the state due to the corona epidemic. He has announced that free rice will be given to the poor in the state from July to November. Along with this, the Chief Minister has also announced to give additional rice equivalent to PM Garib Kalyan Yojana to all ration cards issued under the State Food Security Act.

Bhupesh Baghel’s announcement will benefit 2 crore 51 lakh 46 thousand 424 members of 67 lakh 90 thousand 987 ration cards of the state. In fact, in Chhattisgarh, the state government has given free ration to the poor even in the months of May and June. With this decision, Antyodaya ration card, priority ration card, Annapurna ration card, destitute and handicapped card holders will be benefitted.

Along with this, all ration card holders issued under the State Food Security Act will also be provided additional rice equivalent to PM Garib Kalyan Yojana. It is worth noting that a day earlier, PM Modi has also announced to give free food grains to the poor till Diwali across the country. Along with this, it has also been announced to give free vaccine to all.
