- Congress poster attack before Scindia reaches Gwalior
- Questions raised on the absence of Scindia during the Corona period
- The meeting with BJP leaders in Bhopal also tightened
BJP MP Jyotiraditya Scindia is reaching Gwalior-Chambal on Thursday after nearly three months, but the political heat has already started increasing from Bhopal to Gwalior. A day before his arrival in Gwalior, Congress has pasted posters on his palace, Jaivilas Palace, showing the Maharaja as sleeping Kumbhakarna. In the ongoing political upheaval within the BJP, the poster has been taunted even after Scindia was left behind Kailash Vijayvargiya and Narottam Mishra.
On Wednesday, these posters were put up by Congress spokesperson Siddharth Rajawat on the walls of Scindia’s ancestral palace. They also burnt effigies of PM Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Phulbagh intersection. The poster shows Scindia sleeping. Questioning his absence from Gwalior during the Corona period, it has been taunted that when Corona fled from Madhya Pradesh, Kumbhakarna Jyotiraditya Scindia woke up as a public servant.
The poster has a picture of him with PM Modi, in which he is seen urging himself to be the Chief Minister. At the same time, they are complaining to the people that why did you not wake me up, I was left behind Kailash Vijayvargiya and Narottam Mishra in the race to become the Chief Minister. Through this, Congress has targeted the contradiction of BJP.
Earlier, Scindia reached Bhopal on Wednesday, the first day of his MP stay. He met State BJP President VD Sharma at his residence. He also interacted with the leaders of the Sangh. What was discussed during these meetings, it is not yet known, but it is believed that there was a discussion on adjusting the Scindia-supporters in the corporation and divisions.
Here, the Congress party targeted Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for these meetings. He also met the Chief Minister, but Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja tweeted that Scindia was only socializing with Shivraj’s opponents. Scindia is reaching Gwalior on Thursday. From June 10 to 12, he will be in Gwalior, Bhind and Morena.
