Medical, Health and Ayurveda Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma said that the importance of Ayurveda system has also been proved in the era of corona virus epidemic. He said that the State Government is making all possible efforts to promote Ayurveda system and to develop facilities related to it. He said that with the establishment of new recruitments and colleges in the Department of Ayurveda, the benefits of this method would reach more and more people.
He said that Government Integrated Colleges of Ayurveda and Yoga and Naturopathy would be established in Jaipur, Kota, Sikar, Bikaner and Bharatpur. He said that approval has also been given for the establishment of Government College of Yoga and Naturopathy in Udaipur.
The Ayurveda Minister said that with the establishment of new colleges, new employment opportunities would also be available in this sector. He said that with the approval of the establishment of these colleges, approval has also been given to create 778 new academic and non-educational posts, which will provide employment opportunities to the youth.
According to the minister, in view of the immense potential of ‘Meditourism’ in the state, such centers will be established soon at religious and tourist places.
