Jammu, Jun 8 (PTI) The Army provided medical aid to seven people who were injured in an accident of a private vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Tuesday. A defense spokesperson gave this information.

He said the private vehicle jeep was on its way from Nowshera to Mendhar when it slid on the road as the driver lost control of the vehicle in front of an army camp near Galuthi village and half-hanged on one side of the road, under which The river was flowing.

The spokesman said that the Army Rapid Reaction Team immediately swung into action and the passengers were evacuated with utmost care. Simultaneously, the jeep was pulled back on the road with the help of a heavy military vehicle. First aid was provided to the injured.
