Jyotiraditya Scindia, who reached Bhopal on Wednesday on a three-day tour of Madhya Pradesh, has said that position does not matter to him. Their only goal is public service. Scindia said in Bhopal that he follows the footsteps of his grandfather and father. Position or not, the sole goal of the Scindia family is to serve the people continuously.
Political agitation has increased in MP already before the visit of Jyotiraditya Scindia. Tulsi Silavat, his close aide and Water Resources Minister in the state, has said that Jyotiraditya Scindia should get due respect in BJP. His loyalists are hopeful that Jyotiraditya Scindia will get a place in the Union Cabinet soon.
Like Silavat, other supporters of Scindia are also hopeful that he will get a place in the Union Cabinet. His aides also say that not only a cabinet berth at the Center for Scindia, he is also hoping to get a share in appointments to boards and corporations.
Earlier, on reaching Bhopal, Scindia’s supporters gave him a warm welcome at the airport. Ministers close to him were present at the airport to welcome Scindia, who reached Bhopal after three months. Jyotiraditya Scindia reached the state president VD Sharma’s house directly from the airport. Both the leaders hugged each other. After that there was talk of Jyotiraditya Scindia and some people of the organization in the closed room. Scindia has also had lunch at VD Sharma’s house. Apart from Bhopal, Scindia will also visit Gwalior and Chambal region during his three-day stay in MP.
