Jamshedpur, June 11 (PTI) Four days after an FIR was lodged by two minor girls of a women’s shelter home—Mother Teresa Welfare Trust—in the Telco police station area of ​​Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur, today, the District Social Welfare Officer informed all 24 minor girls and 16 boys were shifted to another shelter home ‘Bal Kalyan Ashram’ in the district.

Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar said that he has constituted an 11-member committee consisting of police, administration and officers of all concerned departments for a high-level inquiry into the matter, but in view of the safety of the children, they were shifted to the Child Welfare Ashram this evening. Has been given .

Various social organizations have alleged that despite registering an FIR in the case, no arrest has been made so far while the accused are in constant touch with the people and children of the shelter home through mobile.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner said that both the minor girls, who lodged an FIR against the director of the disputed trust, were not ready to go back to the Mother Teresa Welfare Trust. Due to this both were handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

It is alleged that the children of the trust are being sent to the police-administration officials to disprove the allegation.

Jamshedpur Senior Superintendent of Police M Tamilavanan told PTI that both the minors have leveled serious allegations against the operator, including others, which are being investigated but no arrest has been made so far.
