Mumbai, 07 June : Actor Mohit Raina, who became famous from the series ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’, has lodged a police complaint against four persons with the Goregaon Police in Mumbai. On social media, some people had spread false and shocking information about Rohit. Rumors were also spread. He has since lodged a complaint with the police and taken steps against them.

An astonishing claim has been made on social media in the case of famous actor Mohit Raina, who has been featured in web series like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ and Bhoukal. Claiming to be Mohit Raina’s well-wisher, a young woman named Sara Sharma had started a Mohit Bachao campaign on social media. Under the campaign, it was claimed that Mohit Raina could die just like Sushant Singh Rajput.

Mohit and his family came forward soon after such information came out on social media. Mohit had made it clear that I was perfectly fine and fit. Mohit had reached Borivali court after this. The Borivali court had also directed the police to record Mohit’s reply in the case and conduct an inquiry.

After Mohit’s complaint, Goregaon police registered a complaint against Sara Sharma and her accomplices Parveen Sharma, Ashiv Sharma and Mithilesh Tiwari. According to Mohit’s complaint, the police have registered a case against the four on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, giving false information to the police, threatening and demanding ransom. Crimes have been registered under Section 384. Police are currently investigating the matter.
