8 crore additional approved for setting up of finance, digital and advanced technology institutions

Jaipur, Jun 10 (PTI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directed to expedite the work of setting up Fintech Digital University in Jodhpur, Rajasthan Institute of Advanced Learning Deemed University in Jaipur and Rajiv Gandhi Center for Advanced Technology institutions.

According to the official statement, he has approved an additional budget provision of Rs 8 crore for the services of consultants from different fields in order to constitute these three institutions.

It is noteworthy that Gehlot had announced the establishment of these institutions in the state budget 2021-22 with the aim of providing the latest education in economic, financial, digital and technical subjects to the youth of the state and skill development of the new generation in these areas.

In this regard, the administrative department of the proposed institutions, the Information Technology and Communications Department has proposed to take the services of consultants on contract basis for the formation of institutions. This advisory committee will advise the department to ensure time bound implementation of the above three budget announcements.
