741 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Jun 11 (PTI) In Chhattisgarh, 741 new cases of COVID-19 were reported during the last 24 hours, taking the number of people infected with the virus to 9,85,691 in the state.

On Friday, 268 people were discharged from hospitals after becoming infection free in the state, while 1391 people completed the period of home isolation. 15 corona virus infected patients died in the state.

State Health Department officials said on Friday that 741 cases of infection have been reported today. These include 59 from Raipur district, 10 from Durg, 10 from Rajnandgaon, 14 from Balod, nine from Bemetara, three from Kabirdham, 14 from Dhamtari, 27 from Balodabazar, 29 from Mahasamund, 23 from Gariaband, 16 from Bilaspur, 22 from Raigarh, There are 21 cases from Korba, 33 from Janjgir Champa, 16 from Mungeli.

He said that so far 9,85,691 people have been confirmed infected in Chhattisgarh. While 9,56,459 patients have become infection free after treatment, 15,932 patients are under treatment in the state. 13,300 people infected with the virus have died in the state.

In Raipur district of the state, maximum number of 1,56,751 people have confirmed corona virus infection. Corona virus-infected 3118 people have died in the district.
